.NAME Domain Names

Launched in 2001, the Dot NAME top-level extension is the sole TLD intended for personal web pages only. These domain names can be personal or fictitious names, aliases and/or other labels people are known by. At the beginning, only third-level registrations were permitted, so if you desired to obtain john.doe.name, you were supposed to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration process was loosened and second-level registrations were also permitted. Existing third-level names remained running.

Through our company, you can register your dot NAME domain for a time interval between 1 and 10 years. You will have the opportunity to switch the WHOIS contacts, to park your domain, to edit Custom DNS records, etc. You can also transfer an existing domain to our firm if you have its EPP transfer code from the present domain provider and we will renew it once the transfer has been completed. There are no special requirements on who can reserve a .NAME domain name, but in order to maintain the objective behind its creation alive, the Registry may verify who the owner is and if there is no relation between the owner and the actual domain name, the registration might be challenged.

The dot NAME universal top-level domain extension is amongst the extensions that support internationalized domains, so we can also register a domain in any language at no added cost. In this way, your dot NAME domain will be recognized in your country or region with the correct spelling in your native language.
